20 applications of augmented reality. Welcome today for publication in EBS St. Petersburg "Leti". A new way to get started

Vikoristannya technology "upgraded" reality" in the current world

Today, augmented reality technology has become widespread in various fields: the Internet, marketing, tourism, multimedia, science and technology.

Regardless of the insignificance of the formula, “Added reality” has long been a part of our lives. The history of augmented reality has now been around 20 years since it was described as a continuum by Paul Milgrom and Fumio Kusino. Additional reality is presented as a space between reality and virtuality, as well as additional virtuality. Augmented reality technology is superimposed on real images that are captured by video, webcams, or virtual objects. For example, during the hour of a television broadcast of athletics, viewers are shown a photo finish - a photograph with lines that indicate the positions of the athletes. These lines contain interesting objects of augmented reality, which provide additional information, making the actual images more informative.

Technology “Added reality”does not pass over the sphere of illumination and at this hourvikoristsuperficially in the process of training the discipline of the natural-mathematical cycle, which is an objective necessity and demand for the development of cognitive processes of daily academics and students. The introduction into the system of awareness of current virtual features begins with the most important mental enhancement of the initial effect that lies in the interactivity of 3D modeling and the secondary effect of augmented reality. With a set of paper markers at hand, we can, at any moment, identify the initial object not only in communication, but also work with it through low-level manipulation, marvel at its new focus or perspective. The relevance of the advancement of augmented reality technology in the educational process lies in the fact that this innovative way will undoubtedly increase the motivation of students in computer science and other disciplines and also to promote the level of acquisition of information by synthesizing different forms of its submission. The great advantage of modern augmented reality technology is its accuracy, completeness of information and interactivity.

Regardless of the great functionality, augmented reality technology is simple in technology and accessible to a large audience of business owners, but will require new developments and complex development of new problems. Prote, for proper development, this technology can satisfy a wide range of educational and educational needs of schoolchildren and students.

There is also a wide range of functionality offered by augmented reality technology, which is also accessible to the reader. With this technology in place, the teacher can deliver the necessary training material in a more accessible and accessible teaching format, including lessons on how to handle sneezing games, demonstrations and laboratory work. Handiness of virtual virtual 3D-The object will simplify the process of explaining new material. When mastering the technology of augmented reality, the level of information literacy of teachers and students is expected.

For example, including the topic “Computer Architecture” in the computer science class, and vikoryst’s replacement of real details 3D-objects of augmented reality, the skin learns the ability to become familiar with the skin structure of the computer, to reject the manifestations of its technological features and peculiarities. For such, it is necessary for the teacher to keep the mother busy: ready 3D-models, divided into 3DsMaxor other modeling programs; web cameras, augmented reality controllers; program for recognizing augmented reality markers in digital and analogue versions; Demonstration devices such as projectors, screens, interactive boards.

One of the applications of the technology “Augmented Reality” is the company’s productsSMART Technologies. The technology in this phase is implemented by the synthesis of an interactive board.SMART, software securitySMART Notebook, document cameraSMARTthat augmented reality cube. Integration with SMART Notebook software allows you to save images and immediately add them to the digital lesson. Students can operate animationsWith 3D objects, for example, students can display 3D images behind an augmented reality cube and demonstrate it to the class from all sides by moving the cube in front of the camera lens. SMART Notebook software support ensures the transfer of additional content to lesson files. Augmented reality tools support a number of broader 3D object formats available from various content libraries. Thus, the new technology “Augmented Reality” will allow us to promote the efficiency of the lighting process and interest in the development of disciplines in the natural-mathematical cycle.

We can no longer imagine ourselves without gadgets, and we are rapidly replacing the need for social media. Language on the Internet is a special language, as it contains mental symbols, symbols, emoticons. And as a result, many students stop reading, and, as a result, the content of writing is reduced to a logical, figurative, emotional thought.

It is generally understood that it is impossible to reverse the current trend; therefore, it is necessary to attract the interest of students to information technologies in order to stimulate their cognitive activity.

What is this added reality? This is the result of the introduction of the field into the perception of any sensory data by means of additional information about the refinement and enhancement of the reception of information. We used marker technology in our robot: when the marker hits the video camera, a 3D object appears. To create an augmented reality project, 11th grade students received and used the EV Toolbox program (eligovision.ru).

To create projects, you can use an augmented reality program.

Vikorist’s augmented reality projects, we conducted lessons on the development of language and mathematics, and also created a virtual production of the fairy tale “The Swan Geese,” which was the first step in the creation of a virtual theater. For the production, we took the script of the fairy tale The Swan Geese by Olesya Omelyanova, and added information. The author of the text was very lively and cheerful in conveying the essence of the Russian folk tale.

To conduct lessons and theatrical performances, install the required projector with a screen, a laptop (or a computer with a video camera) with the installed EV Toolbox program and projects.

For the integrated lesson, 11th grade students created three-dimensional figures using the additional Blender 3D program.

Eleventh graders prepared a playing field with empty squares, markers with figures, and cards with butts for learning.

At the beginning of the lesson, the teacher asked him to do some simple mathematical exercise. During the warm-up, you can include any basic tasks for learning: knowledge of the multiplication table, subsection, application of additions and additions. The student, who correctly named the answer, went to the playing field and placed the figurine on it.

If the reader wants the figures to stand on the singing place, you can place cards with the correct types on the empty squares. Learners change the card with the correct answer to the figure.

After the warm-up was completed, and the figures stood in their places, the teacher asked him to guess a small tale (history), vikoristically placed on the playing field of the figures.

At this lesson, children can practice one at a time, in pairs, in groups.

After finishing the lesson, go to the playing field and tell your tale (story). Other scientists helped with the place, as it was necessary, suggested the development of the plot, moved and swapped markers. The entire game was visible on the projector.

The boys impatiently checked the development of the language for another lesson, repeated the multiplication table to correctly guess and go to the playing field to place a figure. The boys also thought about the plot of the new game (different versions of the plot lines appeared).

At another lesson, the students split into groups. The skin group prepared its own story, and the team representative came out to the playing field and told the story, the group members passed the markers onto the playing field.

We conducted a number of lessons on the development of language from the history of augmented reality, and the boys created and told their tales from great treasures.

Last year we took part in the mister’s project “Kazki Crafts”. In the process of preparing for the theatrical performance, third-graders learned the traditions of the Russian people in lessons on life science, literary reading, and after-hours lessons.

There were divided roles among the third-grade students, and the boys, with great enthusiasm, learned the words of the heroes in the context of the extraordinary tale of the Cossacks.

As soon as the markers with the characters were touched to the camera lens, and a 3D image appeared on the screen, the story began. Rushing the marker on the playing field, the boys moved the heroes, killed them by appearing or exiting the scene. The process has already buried the children. It was so easy for the spectators to follow the heroes and the characters who were burning in front of them.

As a result, the research was successful in promoting the cognitive activity of students. The children not only voiced ready-made roles, but also got used to the characters.

The children rejected the miraculous joy of being part of a team.

Augmented reality (AR) allows you to enrich the world with the latest technologies, giving rise to unique combinations of interactive information. Although we want to clarify the reality, it is still rare to stagnate, but more and more readers, researchers and readers are beginning to crumble from interactive initial methods. There are a lot of such techniques that can be found in real life and creative projects. Here we have collected a number of particularly useful projects of this kind, although, of course, there are actually many more of them.
1)Second Life
Whose project is being victorious about the online game Second Life, which may be the case for Stevenson's soul. This is a very useful and informative tool that can reach a very wide audience - and give the authors new ways to teach their powerful students. To review all the ways to explore the virtual world using the method of illumination, you need to wrap up the article, but also briefly review: online lessons, demonstrations, discussions, lectures, presentations, debates and other things.
2) Augmented Reality Development Lab

This experimental laboratory was founded by Digital Tech Frontier and collaborates with such important athletes as Google, Microsoft and Logitech. She creates projects that are important and in accordance with the plan. Basically, these are interactive trivial objects that can be started in a different way. Lighting installations can purchase ARDL packages at different prices.
3) Living the Revolution

Here Karen Schrier shows her students the famous historical Battle of Lexington using GPS and PCs. This AR experiment also explores the mysteries of this battle, for example, having killed the first. The warriors themselves play the role of soldiers and take part in the battle on a real map in Massachusetts.
4) PhysicsPlayground

One of the many game engines for the PC, taking away another life in the form of an illuminating physics guide. The project, called PhysicsPlayground, is creating a trivial middle ground with deep constraints, in which you can experiment and better understand the universe of reality.
5) MITAR Games

Which MIT game project actually takes place on the territory of a virtual environment and a virtual scenario that gives
brown light effect For example, the Environmental Detectives team encourages citizens to find out the source of the harmful flow of toxic materials.
6) New Horizon

Many Japanese students and other people who learn English are using this smartphone to work with the new generation of AR assistants. The trainers themselves are produced by Tokyo Shoseki. New Horizon, with the help of smartphone cameras, shows animated characters directly from the books on the required pages.
7) Occupational Safety Scaffolding

To help with this system, Professor Ron Dotson teaches a course on safety during the day. Three-dimensional AR-demonstrations that combine real and digital objects, show how to correctly build daily drawings and scaffolding. Of course, the implementation of augmented reality is very simple, but there is no doubt that it can save the health and life of people.
8) FETCH! Lunch Rush

This gaming add-on for iPhone and iPod touch is available for PBS Kids. With this help, children aged 6 to 8 years old can learn basic mathematics in a sniffling form from behind the school walls, for example, lying at home on the sofa or sitting in the car.
9) AR excursions

This is a whole class of different AR-projects, aimed at visualization of different historical periods and reconstruction of these and other periods. Some of them have game elements. For example, the HistoriQuest project depicts the Great Patriotic War in the United States, drawing on historical facts.
10) School in the Park

In this project, students from grades 3 to 6 are working on two local museums and a zoo, and there they look at the exhibits not just like that, but through a smartphone, and view additional information. Please, readers, begin to create the powerful objects of augmented reality!
11) “Polyuvannya na smittya” with QR codes

With this product you can use an additional smartphone with a QR code reader.
12) Mentira

This is a game in which reality and fiction, guesses of characters and real people are combined. This is also the first thing in the world of illumination of the AR-game of the Spanish language. Go to the American city of Albuquerque. The game follows the plot of classic detective stories about murder, and the meta is to create a more effective interaction with native language speakers, which is not possible in foreign language lessons at school.
13) AR test drive

Toyota, together with Saatchi & Saatchi, created the purest and safest test drive in the world - with additional augmented reality. Of course, such skills are not yet available in driving schools, but are a very effective alternative to a fleet of cars for initial driving.
14) Geotagging

Just as you can use smartphones in your lessons, you can show children how to control the world using Google Earth and web albums like Picasa and Instagram. Using additional communication programs such as Skype or other VOIP clients can improve communication between different schools, and geotagging can become a useful tool for cross-cultural interaction.
15) Dow Day
Situated Documentary from Luiz Lopes on Vimeo.

This AR add-on for the smartphone is a documentary film in which students, contributions and guests of the University of Wisconsin watch in 1967. Walking around the university grounds with a phone and watching through it, you can get real records of what was happening here during the protests against the war in Vietnam. The author of the program is Jim Mathews.
16) Scimorph

With the help of additional programs, webcams and an arched paper with an over-armed label can display a funny animal called Scimorph, which indicates gravity, sound and microbes “sitting” on the arch and a paper in front of the screen (you need to turn on the web -camera). In each case, it is necessary to monitor the specific play zone, where a variety of foods, quizzes and assessments occur.
17) Imaginary Worlds

This program for PSP allows students to go on a magical journey to obtain additional images of interest and QR codes found in various areas of the school. Having known such a code, you need to go through a small “quest”, which can kill monsters, and to defeat them you need to know the following items. At the end, you need to write a short story about what you experienced with the girl.
18) Sky Map and Star Walk

These two simple astronomical add-ons for Android and iOS offer great illumination potential for a great innovative approach to augmented reality. In both programs, you need to point the device at the sky, and the names of the stars, planets and objects that appear on the screen, as well as additional astronomical information about them, appear on the screen.
19) Handheld Augmented Reality Project (HARP)

Harvard University, Wisconsin University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, with a grant from the US Ministry of World Affairs, have developed a project for schools based on GPS navigation using Axim computers from Dell. Moving from a PDA around the school, the student moves through virtual light, synchronized with the real one, raising new concerns about the tasks that need to be addressed.
20) Project Glass

Hopefully, one of the most ambitious AR projects will come from Google itself. The Internet giants respect that their ability is not limited by the walls of classrooms. Apparently, Glass requires special eyepieces, and not just a smartphone or laptop. Nowadays Glass can be used in a number of areas, for example, photographing “with the eyes of the eyes” in extreme minds.

The term “augmented reality” has generic characteristics – it is a combination of real and virtual contexts, their interactions in real time, and the same contexts presented in 3D space. Lighting has been updated with reality - a complex of objects, 3D models and software for the development of the process.
To demonstrate augmented reality objects- The ODR reader is aware of the upcoming transfer of hardware: a camera, a computer with a program and a marker with a graphic code. The process of displaying objects is carried out in 3 stages: recognizing the marker, identifying the position of the object and displaying virtual information on the screen instead of the marker.
The goal that I put in connection with the stagnation of this technology is to expand the traditional method of preschool education for the range of possibilities of DR programs, breastfeeding, for the range of inclusion of the child before the process of interaction with objects, for hunok be careful for the help of these people behind your hand and reaction, self-control of the child. I want to bring into the activity of a child at work elements of independent play, the ability to independently choose objects, visually colorful and trivially crumbling characters and models that represent current technical capabilities. Musical instruments, presented as objects of the DR, are based on the practice of classical Viconavians, the main instruments of a symphony orchestra, and are inspired by the instruments similar to the music of the peoples of Russia.
I want to reach Vikorist’s technology for our children:
1. Again and again, familiarize children with the instrument using a 3D model, with an additional video of a playing Vikonite.
2. Dates of discovery about different types and groups of musical instruments, about the acceptance of classical and traditional instrumental music.
3. Help children become aware of the living battle of music, consider themselves a participant in the process of creation and discovery of music.
I am adding a few photos and videos:
